Hello NWES Parents and Guardians. On Friday, 2.23.24, students who ride Bus 2 and reside at Chateau Estates and Honey Creek Mobile Home Park will have a delayed pickup time. We ask that you have your students ready for pickup at 8:15 a.m. This change will impact the a.m. route for Bus 2 riders only. The p.m. route for Bus 2 will run as usual. NW Elementary Students who participated in the Warrior Youth Basketball Home League in December are eligible to come and play at halftime of the Varsity game tomorrow, January 19. Meet in the junior high gym at 7:30 p.m. to receive your camp T-shirt and prepare to go out at halftime of the varsity game around 8:00 p.m. All NW Basketball Home League participants will get into the varsity game for free. However, parents and guests will have to purchase tickets at the gate.

NW Elementary: Today is our fundraiser Cash Prize Day! Students who won anything under $20.00 will be sent home with their cash prize today. Any students who won over $20.00 will need to have their prize signed out in the office. Check with your student after school today for their cash prize or a slip from the office letting you know their prize total. Cash prizes can be picked up in the office Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Thank you!
NW Elementary: Elementary report cards will be sent home today unless fees are owed. Please make sure the envelope is signed and returned as soon as possible. Students who are on reading improvement and monitoring plans (RIMPs) also need those signed and returned. Thank you!

If you pick your student(s) up from school daily or are planning to do so this afternoon, please know that the elementary will be busier than normal with foot and car traffic from our 5th and 6th-grade choir and band concert. If you normally arrive early, I recommend that you arrive later than normal but by 3:30 p.m. A large part of our student population will be signed out by their parents after the performances. This will assist in reducing the amount of cars in the pickup line which will result in getting your child (ren) out more quickly than normal. We are reaching out to remind everyone of the a.m. transportation adjustments for Friday, November 17, 2023. Students who reside in Chateau Estates that ride bus 10 or 13 will remain on their normal schedule. Chateau Estates students who ride bus 2 will be picked up between 8:15 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. Students who reside at the Honey Creek Mobile Home Park will be picked up between 8:15 a.m. and 8:25 a.m.

I am writing to inform families of morning transportation changes that will affect residents of Chateau Estates and the Honey Creek Mobile Home Park. These changes will be taking place tomorrow, Thursday, November 16, and Friday, November 17. If you reside at Chateau Estates, your child/children will be picked up between 8:20 a.m. and 8:25 a.m. If you reside at the Honey Creek Mobile Home Park, your child/children will be picked up between 8:25 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
