Good evening Northwestern community, We will still be under a water boil advisory through tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10th. If you could continue to send students to school with plenty to drink, that would be greatly appreciated. We will provide bottles of water for those who need it, but the water fountains will not be usable. We apologize for the continued inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support!

📣 Thanksgiving Break Reminder

This is a friendly reminder that Thanksgiving Break is next week. School will be closed from November 24th-28th. We hope everyone enjoys a restful and meaningful holiday with family and friends.

NW Elementary: Spirit Week - November 17th: Pajama Day, November 18th: Cozy Sweater Day, November 19th: Sports Day, November 20th: Reverse Day (students dress like teachers, teachers dress like students), November 21st: Fall Flannel Day

NW Elementary: Sixth Grade Parents - A letter from Family & Youth Initiatives will be sent home with sixth grade students in Friday Folders on Friday, November 14th. All sixth grade students will need to return the signed letter back to school, stating if they will participate or not participate. Thank you!

NW Elementary: The Girl Scout parent informational meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, November 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Cafeteria. Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the back doors. Thank you!

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸 Today, we pause to honor and thank all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Your courage, dedication, and sacrifice protect the freedoms we cherish every day. Our Northwestern community is deeply grateful to our veterans — including staff members, family, and community partners — for their service to our nation. Northwestern alumni (class of 1966), Mr. Donald Putterbaugh, donated benches in honor of all veterans. The memorial can be found on campus out front of the Jr/Sr High School. Let us take this day to reflect on the meaning of service and to express our heartfelt appreciation to all who have worn the uniform. Thank you, veterans.
