🎓✨ Real-World Skills in Action! ✨🎓
Students in Mrs. Luffy’s English 12 class are doing more than just earning their final English credit—they’re getting a head start on their futures! Through a partnership with Clark State, students are also earning college credit for EBE 1000 📚🙌
Recently, students took part in a hands-on interview experience with amazing local community members who volunteered their time and expertise. Each student came prepared with a resume, practiced their interview skills in real time, and followed up with a professional thank-you letter—just like in the real world! 💼👏
These are the kinds of opportunities that truly make a difference—building confidence, communication skills, and career readiness all in one experience.
A huge THANK YOU to our community partners for investing in our students’ futures! 💙

🍎 We welcomed our class of 2039 for Kindergarten screenings this week. We can't wait to meet our newest students in the fall! ✏️

📚✨ We are proud to celebrate our High School English Department!
Recently, members of the team presented their project,Beyond Reading: Collaborative Model for School-wide Literacy Engagement at the OCTELA State Conference. Having their proposal selected was an honor, and their session drew many interested English teachers from across the state.
The team shared how they are creating meaningful ways for high school students to engage with books, build awareness of community resources like the Bookmobile and local library, and integrate the arts and humanities into hands-on classroom projects.
Students are divided into “houses” named after famous authors—similar to the house system in Harry Potter—and complete quarterly challenges that encourage creativity, collaboration, and a love of lifelong learning.
This dynamic project began with the support of a districtwide initiative to expand project-based learning opportunities, and the results have been outstanding! Looking ahead, the team plans to continue growing the program by partnering with the Springfield Museum of Art to bring even more opportunities to students in the coming year.
👏 Thank you to our English Department for representing us so well!

ATTENTION ALL FAMILIES: German Township has notified our transportation department that trees are currently down and blocking portions of Ballentine Pike (between Pinewood and Snyder Domer), Hominy Ridge Road, and Willowdale Road (between Haven Hill and Snyder Domer) and anything north of Snyder Domer Road.
Due to these road closures, buses #17, #12, and #8 will be unable to drop students off at the areas located above in parenthesis this afternoon. If your student normally exits the bus at one of these locations, a parent or guardian will need to pick them up from the school today. For elementary pickup, please remember to enter off of Penny Pike.
We apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure the safety of our students.

Mrs. Stasiak is proud of her Algebra students for their hard work on their Exponential Story Problem Projects! Algebra Lab makes math come alive with real world problems and a hands on approach.📈✨
They created real-world scenarios involving exponential growth, decay, and compound interest—complete with equations, data tables, graphs, and detailed explanations of function components like asymptotes and y-intercepts.
Their critical thinking, accuracy, and creativity really showed in this project. Way to go, students! 👏📚

⚙️🤖 Warrior Robotics Hits the Road! 🤖⚙️
Our Competition Robotics class traveled to their first-ever VEX Competition, and what a debut it was!
💥 FOUR out of FIVE teams advanced to the Round of 16
🏆 One team battled all the way to the Semi-Finals
It was a full day of learning — not just coding and building, but developing critical soft skills like communication, adaptability, teamwork, and real-time problem solving. Watching students troubleshoot under pressure and support one another was incredible.
And the coaches’ favorite moment of the day?
Students asking if they can take Robotics again in high school. 🙌
We couldn’t be prouder of this group for how they represented our school and embraced the challenge of their first competition.
**Powered by Springfield-Clark CTC, this class is one of 20+ classes available to students in partnership with Springfield-Clark CTC!
The Warriors will compete again this Saturday in Bellefontaine — let’s wish them luck!
⚙️❤️💙 Good luck, Warriors!
