MATTHEW COX

Matthew Cox is a second-generation graduate of Northwestern Local Schools. He graduated in 2000 where he was a three-sport athlete playing soccer, basketball, and track. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Franklin University.

Matthew is employed for Cox Automotive as the Manager of Implementation and Client Relationship Management. He is actively involved in the NW community. He volunteers coaching soccer and basketball for our youth programs. He’s a long-time member of Faircreek Church, a 4-H advisor, and a member of the Dairy Committee for Clark County.

Matthew and his wife, Andrea, have been married for 15 years, and they have two children who attend Northwestern:  Austin and Chase. Both boys are actively involved in sports and 4-H.

Matthew’s current term on the Board will expire in December of 2027.

ANDY GUNDOLF

Andy is a third-generation graduate of Northwestern Local Schools. He graduated in 1994 and continued his education at Wittenberg University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Management before continuing to get his MBA from Keller School of Management in 2012.

Community involvement is important to Andy, who has served on the Pike Township Zoning Board as well as the Springfield Christian Youth Ministries Board. He has been a youth leader at his church, a church volunteer, a 4-H leader and mentor, as well as a coach for youth soccer and basketball.

Andy's wife, Melissa is also a Northwestern graduate and they currently have three children, Faith, Grace, and Isaac, all who have attended Northwestern. 

Andy is currently employed by Johnson and Johnson. He brings a great deal of loyalty and experience to our board.

Andy's current term on the Board will expire in December 2025.

KEVIN MACY

Kevin Macy is a native of Phoenix, Arizona, and moved here to Springfield and the Northwestern district in 2006. He is a 1997 graduate of Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana, and a 2003 graduate of Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. He is a family physician at Ohio Valley Primary Care.

Kevin and his wife Rebecca have been married for over 25 years, and have four children who have attended Northwestern: Luke, Rachel, Kyle, and Lauren. The children have enjoyed sports, band, and clubs at the school while putting academics and learning first. Rebecca is the varsity volleyball coach at Northwestern. The entire family is committed to the Northwestern community and the school and to seeing it excel in all aspects from academics to athletics and more.

Kevin has been involved in the community through serving on committees at our local hospitals, teaching middle schoolers at his church, coaching youth sports, and other volunteering. He enjoys the challenge of the school board and the change of pace from his previous committees. His main priority is seeing Northwestern provide a high-quality education and a safe environment for all children for years to come.

Kevin's current term on the Board will expire in December 2025.

ERIC RENEGAR

Eric Renegar, originally from Fayetteville, Tennessee, moved to the Northwestern community in 2003. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Freed-Hardman University and a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Cincinnati. Eric currently teaches Information Technology at Sinclair Community College.

His wife, Becky, is a 2000 graduate of Northwestern Local Schools and is a K-12 educator and advocate for gifted education.  They have three children, Haley, Emma, and Avery.  As seniors, Haley and Emma have been deeply engaged in Northwestern's band and art programs. Avery attends Northwestern Elementary School. 

Eric is actively involved in K-12 cybersecurity training. He speaks to youth and educators across the United States, emphasizing the importance of personal and professional cyber hygiene. He is also a frequent speaker at conferences, focusing on cybersecurity education.

Eric's current term on the Board will expire in December of 2027.

LEIGH TAYLOR

Dr. Leigh Ann Taylor is a 1996 graduate of Greenon High School. She then completed her undergraduate education at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Miami University. She went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In 2003 she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Leigh worked as an associate doctor at Living Well Spine Center for 6 years until she opened her own practice, Taylor Family Wellness Chiropractic, in Huber Heights in 2009.

Leigh is active in the Ohio State Chiropractic Association. She held a position on the Ethics Committee for the Ohio State Chiropractic Association for 8 years. She is also a regular attendee at First Christian Church in Springfield and volunteers at the elementary for the Northwestern PTO.

Leigh’s husband, Jeremy, is a 1997 graduate from Northwestern High School. They have 2 children, Alexis (NW graduate) and Andrew.
